Please review the following information to understand how to post a new listing; and to understand how to make contact with the seller if you’d like more information or want to purchase!
Add a new Listing
In the menu above, click on the title that says, well: “Add a New Listing” and enter your information:
- Title. (Required). Keep this as short as possible since it will be displayed on a variety of devices, including mobile phones. Note: Including a picture is a great way to help users quickly understand what the item is.
- Type of Listing (Required). Select from the available options such as: For Sale, Wanted, Free, etc.
- Category (Required). Select what type of item you are listing. This is a very important field since users can easily sort by type, such as Furniture.
- Description (Required). Tell us what you are listing. Please DO NOT include any personal information in your listing! These pages will be out on the internet. However, you can be as descriptive as you want otherwise.
- Apartment & Name (Required). This is how buyers, limited to only those of us who live and work at Highland Springs AND HAVE ACCESS TO OUR ONLINE DIRECTORY! This is for privacy!. This site will not ask you for any personal information beyond this. The only way someone can contact you is to look up your apartment and name in our directory. Please make it easy for the buyers. - Featured Image (Optional). This is the image you’d like to associate with your listing. We suggest you use your mobile phone since the web page on there will allow you to easily take a picture and post it with your listing. But of course you can select a picture if you prefer from your laptop or other device where the web page is running.
When you are finished, press the “Create Listing” Button to upload it for approval. Note: it will not show up immediately since it will require administrative review first.
Respond To a Listing
If you would like to contact the owner of the listing to get more information, you must use the resident directory. Click HERE (you must login first!) to look up the information.
Inside the resident directory, use the Apartment and the Name to find the person who posted and their contact information.
Edit or Remove a Listing
The listings will expire in 30 days automatically. However, if you’d like to delete, use the “Contact Us” button below to send an email to the Administrators with your apartment number and name. We don’t allow edits for posts; but, notify us and we’ll delete your post and you can post a new one with the updates.
Final Information
This site is run by resident volunteers. If you’d like to volunteer, send us an email and we’ll be back in touch.
Currently, we shoot to approve new submissions and to delete requested posts twice a week – so please be patient – or volunteer!
